1776 The Production: Influences on and interpretations of ending of National Lampoon’s 1978 film Animal House – a correlation made with strong evidence

Last evening we attended 1776 at Pittsburgh’s  O'Reilly Theater.

It was a riveting performance.

I was first exposed to the production of 1776 back in 1976 when my eldest sibling was part of the Wheeling Jesuit production of it. It bit me then and became one of my favorite movies as a kid and theatrical performances. In fact, I used to prance around on the family’s large stone fireplace I used as a stage for my own special performances for friends & family and do the “Here a Lee from Virginia” song – which takes place when John Adams and Benjamin Franklin cajole Richard Henry Lee of Virginia to champion making the debate of Independence a legitimate one to discuss in congress at Philadelphia.

If you’re gonna b*tch about the government and “the man” and inequalities, freedom, loss of freedom, taxes, tyranny & revolution = than you should know what went down as a prelude to 1776 and America’s Deceleration of Independence.

Nowadays, when people actually mutter the words “Deceleration of Independence” they talk about it like it is something in a dusty old crusty schoolbook.  People refer to the Deceleration of Independence and for them it’s just a noun – just another person, place, or thing.

Like it’s just some object in a prepositional phrase or something!

After the signing of the Deceleration of Independence most Americans enjoyed real freedom(s) and, after that, also allowed for John Adam’s biggest wish coming true = all men being recognized as equal & free in the United States of America. Or another example, We enjoy the freedoms of the Deceleration of Independence.

However, watching 1776 on a Friday night after a hard week’s work, it dawned on me! The Deceleration of Independence isn’t just a thing in a crusty old schoolbook! It’s a verb! It’s a call to action!

The Deceleration of Independence is a call to action!

And, to make it sexxy for today, well, think of our forefathers who loved to drink rum, have lively debate amongst themselves & female counterparts sarcastically handing King George a celebratory birthday cake that says “eat me” on it = celebrating the birth of a free nation. Free of the shackles of monarchic tyrannies and unjust, unwarranted persecutions = just like The Deltas handed Dean Vernon Wormer and Mayor Carmine De Pasto at
Faber’s homecoming parade in the 1978 classic National Lampoon film Animal House.
Here is the classic scene “enter DeathMobile.” Neverthless, in the same vein of vigorous spirit, go see 1776 and realize for yourself = The Deceleration of Independence is not just a noun. It’s a verb. It’s a call to action.

Brilliance #new poem by John French & the new everyday media

Looking at graffiti covered buildings
In the rain of January = Morning streets
Spoke something to me as I whizzed by
a
purple colored umbrella carried by a
healthcare worker hustling toward one
of the city's award winning hospitals ---
If this life of ours is measured by the vibrancy

of the frequency we emit, then we really don't want
anything jamming our transmissions so we can be crystal
clear in frequency without any interrupted static; the bell jar.

There are agents that can aid and help ensure you find a clear channel to tune into - and,
broadcast your brilliant energy like a star in the night. Find these agents and employ them if you need. .. if you want to be brilliant
that is ...

"Hell" - a New Understanding by John French and the new everyday media

Hell

For most religions “hell” plays a major role.

But what is hell?

Why do most of us who believe in it fear it so much?

Probably, mainly, because if you “go to hell” it’s because there was “sin in the crime” you committed on Earth. .. like murder, rape, abuse, neglect = all those things that create victims + oh, yeah, I forgot, and there’s that special place in hell for those who do drugs & listen to rock & roll music.

In the darkest recesses of our minds we can imagine what hell is like and do not want to go there from what we were taught of it.

I don’t know if it’s because I heard “Sympathy for the Devil” by the Rolling Stones in a commercial on TV before I fell asleep in bed or just because a woman in a store I saw brought-up my former neighbor (whose name goes unsaid –as we don’t want to evoke her misplaced hatred & evil spirit) and how unpleasant she heard she was and had made life on my street – why with her troupe of monkey followers & all. .. but I awoke from such a strange dream this morning.

I had a vivid dream of hell.

It was like new, black polished chrome and came over my dream like liquid nite.

If our bodies die and do not pass on with us in an afterlife than maybe you can understand when I express that hell then or at least the hell I dreamt of is not a concrete place with concrete forms but a place of energy that can take on many forms. We may experience parts of it now in our daily lives like in a bad current or rip tide in the ocean or river; unprovoked violence;  a wicked wind; foul smells; fans running backwards, etc.

There were many forms in my dream and some were so seductively sexy and some were so hideous but covered in dripping seduction that made them appear almost nothing and not to surprising in the continual parade of circus, theater like atmosphere.

It all started with a familiar ease.

I was at my uncle’s place who was a well known, well liked, successful doctor and he was having one of his bocce ball parties at his home and was roasting a pig on a spit = just like old times. Then I was summoned to my father’s law firm at his building. He wasn’t there but a few of his past partners were. I was going down a memory lane of sorts that was kinda comforting however soon I didn’t recognize any of the attorneys and secretaries any more.

There had become a sort of opulence and decadence about the everyday life of mine I was dreaming of and these little mundane everyday things with people seemed to possess a new potential meaning to me = like kinetic energy = just waiting to go off. ..like the whole environment was permeated with natural gas and I had a match in my hand and the power of free will to strike it.

I started to develop this overwhelming feeling that even little minute decisions I made were under a magnify glass and the characters surrounding me were trying to trap and snare me with wrong moves = so my good nature would be put to a test and tests at every moment.

I don’t know why but I found this really humorous and it only added to my good nature forming an intuitive protection naturally practiced by my thoughts and actions and responses both verbally & physically.

Oh, it was grand, great and garnished with a delectable fervor that rivaled some of my best nights and most productive days.

It was enthralling, invigorating, perilous and kind of pathetic in a smart fascinating way that wouldn’t let my true self be led astray and kept me lucid and fluid and moving through it all with an unpretentious grace obviously admired and envied by all. But it kept me moving and safe.

Toward the end of the dream a stream of fantastic, phantasmagoric forms were pouring out from everywhere and I was in its vibrant queue.

I turned to look behind me and my eyes had to keep travelling up until I got to a beautiful, strikingly gorgeous face and hair. She was all in brilliant, shiny black leather and looked like a Scandinavian queen. “She’s 7 foot 1,” a male laughed with enthusiasm.

In the delicate grasp of her hand dangled a stainless steel blade which looked exactly what it was = razor sharp. The shiny black leather Scandinavian queen’s eyes sparkled like exquisite diamonds from Tiffany’s and the blade shared that sparkle as she inserted it in and out of her mouth = ruby red & luscious lips closing down on it everytime ... but never that color of blood red I was expecting to see on that stainless steel blade each time she delivered it from her warm, wet mouth.

Are all Fox News Channel personalities crusty old bigoted ultra conservative biased idiots ?!?!

If you're not watching Red Eye @ 3a.m. on Fox News Channel, then you really have no business judging all of FNC's personalities as crusty old bigoted ultra conservative biased idiots = Because, sure, they're some idiots but some are idiotic in a good way + besides FNC's Red Eye is mostly made-up of Libertarians anyway & FNC is the only NEWS channel that bothers to employ that opinion & territory. .. e.g. (for example):

If I were president I’d put a ban on #2 pencils thus creating a new demand and a new market to supply them which I’d then let the Swedish Nihilists control all along the Canadian border of the U.S. making them extremely rich & powerful & @my political mercy & the more affluent, political, less thug looking ones in the public eye would help fund my parties campaigns thru friends of theirs in Minnesota + moreover, having banned #2 pencils congress would no longer be able to write its bull sh*t (as it’s a Beltway insider’s know = congress pays aids big bucks to do their typing for them not needing to know how to send an email, tweet or use a Blackberry = they rely on #2 pencils & legal pads by their nightstands & on their desks = anyone who tries to get “techy” only is reminded by the Weiner, Anthony of NY). ..

Organ Pie = a new poem by "John French" & the new everyday media

it was a Hi Fi morning for a blustery January day with more snow forecasted.

i had walked the dog, fed him some goulash and i had a couple eggs & coffee

news filtered thru my ears from the radio in the kitchen and living room TV
mixing w/ the song southbound from the Allman Bros on my YouTube channel -
when i opened a personal message for me on facebook from a past girl friend.

Greg Allman on the organ with Bruce Hornsby and Susan Tedeschi and The Asbury Juke Horns @ The Beacon Theater http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yWKbehNV3I

the message was short and simple and did the trick conjuring up the image and
sweet smell of her and how warm she felt on those cold winter days in my bed.

ah, so nice to be remembered & reminded by those who know how to grasp you.

PROOF! Life Beyond Our Own Solar System Unearths Absolute Academic Elitist Arrogance Beyond Universal Reason

PROOF! The only absolute in this world is that most objective scientific opinion & ruling in agreement by all religions and scientific authorities (all in a universal agreement of say how to measure a meter) is the absolute arrogance of the ignorance of these people who think they know it all. .. Case in point, they can’t just celebrate that there’s proof that “life” exists elsewhere than on our own Earth & solar system. Because since it’s not someone from the IvoryTower of Academics (a club so elite it casts a glowering shadow over the club Andrew Carnegie, Frick, Mellon and all those men who made Pittsburgh / the USA one of the most industrialized wealthy spots in the entire world, The Duquesne Club), they have to collectivity convey the “real surprise” … that “It's remarkable to think that absolutely anyone can discover a planet.” said the University of Oxford's Chris Lintott, who helms the Zooniverse, in a statement.

a habitable zone in which conditions are liquid water to exist on a planet’s surface and potentially supportlife, could mean there is a "traffic jam" of worlds where life could exist, project officials said.

"These are planet candidates that slipped through the net, being missed by professional astronomers and rescued by volunteers in front of their web browsers,” said the University of Oxford's Chris Lintott, who helms the Zooniverse, in a statement. “It's remarkable to think that absolutely anyone can discover a planet.”

Amateur Astronomers Discover 42 Alien Planets

A team of amateurs has discovered evidence for 42 alien planets, including a Jupiter-size world that could potentially be habitable, by sifting through data from a NASA spacecraft.

Forty volunteers with the crowd-sourcing Planet Hunters project discovered the new planet candidates, which include 15 potentially habitable worlds and PH2 b, a Jupiter-size planet that the team confirmed to be in the habitable zone of its parent star.

This is the second time Planet Hunters project, which is overseen by Zooniverse, has confirmed a new exoplanet discovery. What's more, several candidate planets found by the project may be in the habitable zones of their parent stars. These candidates are awaiting confirmation by professional astronomers.

Researchers suggested this bonanza of planets in the so-called Goldilocks zone around a star, a habitable zone in which conditions are liquid water to exist on a planet’s surface and potentially supportlife, could mean there is a "traffic jam" of worlds where life could exist, project officials said.

Life on an 'Avatar'-like moon

The planet PH2 b was found using data from NASA's prolific Kepler Space Telescope and confirmed with 99.9 percent confidence by observations at the W. M. Keck Observatory in Hawaii.

Ph2 b is considered much too large to host life. However, any moons orbiting the planet could be strong candidates, astronomers said. The atmospheric temperature on the planet would range between 86 and minus 126 degrees Fahrenheit (30 and minus 88 degrees Celsius) in the habitable zone.

“Any moon around this newly discovered, Jupiter-sized planet might be habitable," stated Ji Wang, a postdoctoral researcher at Yale University. He is lead author of a paper about the discoveries, which has been submitted to the Astrophysical Journal and is available on the pre-publishing website Arxiv.

If a theoretical moon were to host life, it would likely have a rocky core, plus a greenhouse atmosphere of some sort that could have liquid water on its surface, the researchers said.

"It’s very similar to what was depicted in the movie ‘Avatar’ – the habitable moon Pandora around a giant planet, Polyphemus," Wang added.

A telltale dim

Volunteers spotted PH2 b by watching its parent star. As the planet passed in front of the star, the apparent brightness from Earth dimmed.

This is one of two commonly used techniques for finding exoplanets; the other is looking for wobbles in a star's gravityas a planet speeds around it.

Excluding PH2 b, citizen scientists recently discovered 42 planetary candidates, with 20 of those likely in their respective stars' habitable regions.

"These detections nearly double the number of gas giant planet candidates orbiting at habitable zone distances," the paper stated.

Planet Hunters includes participation from Oxford, Yale and several other institutions. Volunteers pour over data from Kepler. Once the strongest candidates are identified, professional astronomers take a look at them.

Planet Hunters has found 48 candidate planets so far. The first confirmed planet, PH1, was revealed in October 2011.

Actress Ashley Judd for U.S. Senate 2014? (D-KY)

Ilene and Nadia and I declare, “Children are not for sale,” at Dushishoze, PSI’s Youth Center Franchise DRC and fertilitychoir practice
Ashley Judd Runs 4 Points Behind Mitch McConnell In Kentucky Senate Poll
Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) didn’t seem too worried this Sunday morning about rumors that actress Ashley Judd might run against him in his upcoming Senate race.
The Senate Minority Leader told Meet the Presshost David Gregory that the 2014 general election was still a long way off. “In the meantime, I’ve got my hands full trying to deal with all the issues that we’ve been discussing here this morning,” McConnell said. “We’ll worry about the election in 2014.”
Sen. Mitch McConnell's unpopularity in his home state might leave him susceptible to a 2014 challenge, including a potential Senate bid by actress Ashley Judd, according to a poll released Tuesday by the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling.
With Irene, one of the world's many unsung heroesAlthough Kentucky remains deeply Republican, McConnell's low approval ratings -- the worst of any senator nationally, according to PPP -- could make him vulnerable. Just 37 percent of Kentucky voters approve of his performance, while 55 percent disapprove.
Judd would be the top choice of Democratic primary voters, and would trail McConnell by just four points in a hypothetical matchup, 43 percent to his 47 percent.
And where the decorum of the Senate is more of that of a seedy Bombay opium den which produces scorpion stings for all those who dwell there rather than a stately place of appointment where austere mannered arguments transpire for the good of humanity Ms. Judd will be as refreshing in the U.S. Senate as the red of early spring tulip against the coarse icy white of snow.
Judd first indicated that she was interested in running for Congress at an event a Democratic National Convention event in September. Judd was at the convention as a delegate – but not to Kentucky. Rather, the A Time to Kill and Double Jeopardy star was serving as a delegate to her home state of Tennessee. Given her ties to Tennessee, it was assumed that she was considering a run in the Volunteer state. Since then, rumors have spread that she intends to run in Tennesee’s neighboring state of Kentucky instead. Sources familiar with the discussions have reportedly said Judd is considering McConnell in 2014 or Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul in 2016.
McConnell seemed genuinely unconcerned with a challenge from inside or outside of his party Sunday, however. Responding to a request from Gregory for his “reaction to some of the criticism from the right to this fiscal cliff deal,” McConnell reminded the NBC host of what ought to be the focus on Republicans serving in Congress over the next two years: the country’s unrestrained spending problem.
“Well, the election will take care of itself in 2014. The question is, what are we gonna do now?” the GOP leader said.
In my view, someone such as Ashley Judd who visits and blogs about her dealings and understandings of a Bonobo sanctuary and is a strong advocate of women’s & children’s rights blogging about the blatantly open oppressive culture’s of the Middle East and Africa would be great at both domestic and world affairs.
It’s not easy to set-about change in Middle East and Africa – travelling around, learning and trying to teach and edify those who’ve been enculturated by an often unjust and corrupt set of principles of government that oversees and directly affects everything down to daily family life and worship. It’s not easy to overcome those barriers of brutality, greed & hunger. But Judd is determined and often successful a breaking through to those closed minds and systems.
If Judd can navigate herself and her philanthropic causes and endeavors through the Middle East and Africa and deal with the corrupt “official” politicians and then the “unofficial” tribes-men/religious fanatics (who oft are more powerful and dangerous), then I confident she can handle herself in the U.S. Senate and should be taken seriously.

Predictions 2013

Predictions 2013

Well, this is just awesome.

What I’ve learned from the past few years I can use to help predict as experience and not just some fancy pants intuition. If you’re going to predict on a somewhat visited blog w/ a peahen mention of a GMA ego manic co-host for the weekend & its way crazy ego driven husband w/ a questionable past of various relationships involving impregnating prominent women for social & economic climbing to maybe try and bring fair credibility to his wanton financial & economic status of being viewed as a concrete master & guru of both within democratic party politics & its big corporate brethren = well you better be able to take any heat from connections of WhiteHouse Peter O & GMA Biana G are gonna throw @ you when you openly announce being holed-up playing guitar relaxing @ the Georgetown Ritz-Carlton by the river off the main-drag of commercial Georgetown dressed in original authentic & organic faded Levis & an organic cotton tee which read “We Belong to the Earth, Earth does not Belong to us – Chief Seattle” and a ShadyBrady Northern California straw hat (@$250.00). Moreover, better be able to take the heat all-the-way home. ..and pass the slanderous inquisitions which people who hate you for having a perfect dream life they wanna use to cut you like a knife like with inner jagged thrusts of the justice system.

So, if you’re gonna do a publicity ballsy publicity stunt = Well, you better hope your colonoscopy comes out clean (and you’re true, good friends really do love you and find it effortless to describe your good, genius & character). ..

Contrast & Comparison Piece: Marketing Lessons from the Grateful Dead and The Joy of Hate: How to Triumph over Whining and Phony Outrage = 2 Most Recent Books I read over the holidays 2012 – 2013.

There are a few of you who may openly represent the majority and may be like, “first off, why are there even books published on Marketing Lessons from the Grateful Dead and The Joy of Hate: How to Triumph over Whining and Phony Outrage? And, why did you read them. What’s wrong with you?!”

And, that’s the first similarity. Both books not only use the phrase, “lock step and barrel” but explain why outside of a military mission applying this mentality to business and journalism and an open free society, in general, is a perilous recipe to follow for low productivity and eventual failure. For if every citizen followed the “lock step and barrel” mentality with every neighbor on their street, on their block and their city – what would be the difference then from living in North Korea?

Neither The Grateful Dead or Greg Gutfeld could have been birthed by a place like North Korea. They would both be targets of national pride for letting their “freak flags fly.” But being Greg Gutfeld should not be a crime here in the free Western World – let alone Manhattan – and the Grateful Dead should not have been a target for the Nixxon administration (unlike Ronald Reagan, George H. Bush, G.W. Bush who did not use its reach of power to crack-down on the Grateful Dead and massive audiences in stadiums & arenas across the country as the Grateful Dead and Deadhead Nation born in the sixties & early seventies really flourished and picked up speed on down the track in the 80’s and 90’s and was truly an iconic juggernaut - allowing them to be the most money making touring act of the time). Furthermore, if there were no Greg Gutfeld or Grateful Dead, there would be no trickle-down-effect.

“Really,” you ask?

Well, yes. For example, back in the early 70’s even a “roadie” for The Grateful Dead made $100,000.00 and had healthcare! And, of a common amount, but certainly not value, Greg Gutfeld’s “roadie” side-kick on one of his shows on Fox News Channel makes $100,000.00 today in the 21st century. (But, hey, Bill Schulz lives in Greg’s basement in the old fruit cellar so in Greg’s defense Bill Schulz doesn’t have to pay for Manhattan rent. So, given that, $100,000.00 in the 70’s and $100,000.00 in 2012 may be a fair wage to try and compare for essentially the same job requirements). Not to mention that when the Grateful Dead toured = tens of thousands of people not only attended the shows each night & day but a big percentage of those tens of thousands of fans toured around the country with the Grateful Dead as both consumers and entrepreneurs in whatever town or city the next show was located. (I know in 1995 when the Grateful Dead played Three River stadium in Pittsburgh, PA with Rusted Root as its opening act = I personally spent money in downtown Pittsburgh on a hotel room for me + friends for two nites + I may have had a veggie burrito & bottled Heineken in the parking lot from some DeadHead who sat-up-shop there to make enough money for gas to get to the next show of “summer tour”). And, just recently, Greg Gutfeld had two bus tours promoting his latest book The Joy of Hate: How to Triumph over Whining and Phony Outrage bringing huge crowds into bookstores across the country (however, it’s probably not appropriate for me to describe what was being sold in-the-parking-lot-scene of out of the trunks of vehicles by the type of entrepreneur Greg Gutfeld’s trickle-down-effect sprouts).

So, where Greg Gutfeld is a practicing libertarian and for that takes heat from both parties and The Grateful Dead was a target by those too paranoid to quite dig the perceived trumped-up “counter culture movement” and survived a ton of heat – rather than fold and just pack-up-shop – both Gutfeld and The Dead have let their “freak flags fly” and have created prosperity for themselves and those around them.

And, yet, they are both very different. For instance, whereas The Grateful Dead did not attend Uni @ Berkeley they were very much responsible for inventing that Birkenstock lifestyle of those attorneys, doctors, professors, scientists, engineers & journalists who loved to attend Grateful Dead shows in Berkeley --- Gutfeld attended Berkeley and hated those attorneys, doctors, professors, scientists, engineers & journalists who put on their Bikenstocks, patchouli & tie-dye shirts and attended those coveted Grateful Dead shows @ Berkeley.

Greg is hated by liberals. The Grateful Dead adored by such liberals as Bill Clinton himself. There’s a YouTube video of Bill Clinton emotionally talking about the death of the Grateful Dead’s lead guitarist & spiritual leader, Jerry Garcia.

In Marketing Lessons from The Grateful Dead points out for a successful marketing team, you must be made-up of different types and be able to roll-with-the-punches looking for new business models & ways to get the word out to an audience. The Grateful Dead had a mailing list in the early 70’s thats database was filled with tens of thousands of fans eager to receive personalized information from the band – also receiving access to the best seats in the house for upcoming shows before a middle-man-scalper gobbled them up or were merely left up to a ticketmaster to sell you - which in the 80’s turned into an email list. Greg Gutfeld has also used new media as a vehicle to let his audience in on insider information on him & his activities with an interactive website called The Activity Pit http://activitypit.ning.com/video/greg-gutfeld-anthem-1 + certainly has surrounded himself with a team made up of different styles of thinking & experience. Tune-into either of Greg’s shows on FNC, Red Eye (which appears at 3 a.m.) and The Five (which appears at 5 p.m.) and you’ll see just how different these people are for a roundtable forum with Greg as the leader. (The result = a product more edgy than any D.C. “think tank” or professors lounge at Brown).

True diversity is good. And, true tolerance is good. These books and their subjects couldn’t exist without true diversity and true tolerance within a culture.

In conclusion, although these two books and their subjects are very different from each other they both celebrate the philosophy and freedom of “truth, justice & the American way" that deserves to be celebrated at its fullest.

For if we all were the same and targeted for being different, it certainly would crack-down on the opportunity to make more money than your neighbor or co-worker and advance in business, politics, culture & government and life in general.

Greg Gutfeld: Not Afraid of My Own 2 Cents @# The Necessary "Joy of Hate"

Not Afraid of My Own 2 Cents @# The Necessary "Joy of Hate"

Greg, after picking-up your latest bad habit called “The Joy Of Hate” I am about halfway through your latest book "The Joy of Hate: How to Triumph over Whiners in the Age of Phony Outrage"  this Xmas Eve. ARE YOU ON DRUGS?! Really, either you're on drugs or you're a genius. .. (or both, I guess, considering the last 3 presidents have been recreational drug users + JFK “hittin’ it up for his war torn & fray back”). @ any rate, you're surely breaking new ground here 1). by having this book published 2). having it "in your own words" w/ out some paranoid editor over your shoulder saying "no we must take this out --- you can't publish that like this" ... So I am here to declare it is so far funny, compelling, raw-truth (@least according to you), + my fingers hurt from holding it it's that cutting edge & smokin’ red hot & henceforth I can't put it down (literally or figuratively). Cheers, Old Sport. ..
We'll always have the CAF in Emmaus, PA discussing common grounds of the Organic Harvest grounds of Rodale Inst. (in which you and my family got paid from). ..
