Thank You for All Your Support (Or At Least Reading)

Thank you for all your support - those who have supported me with compliments, flattery and encouragement - those who have followed me in admiration or to mock me (at least to mock me you read me a bit and viewed my posts and gossiped about me).
However I am now fueled by challanges and triumphs everyday that revolve around my real job as director of business development which I am thankful and grateful for = and truly love = and truly love what it's all about.
I am a busy man. My grandmother Rose (both were Roses) always said "the devil makes work for idle hands."
Therefore I will no longer be posting or writing in emails to media outlets.
The mystrawhat.com project and The New Everyday Media projects have been fun and I think there was a lot of good there (even if misunderstood by some).
I may post on FaceBook here and there but that will be more or less to say "hello" to friends.
Thanks again.
Sincerely, John

Thank you for such a wonderful article.

On our way home to Pittsburgh Saturday I stopped at a store to pee and saw Sen Byrd w/ his adorable doggie on the front page and I had to buy your paper.

I was in Georgetown stayinyg at the Ritz Carlton = w/ a $200.00 strawhat, $450.0 Hugo Boss shades, vintage torn and frayed Levis (priceless) and tee shirts (one w/ Chief Seattle and his true and beautiful quote "we belong to the earth = earth does not belong to us") with a little big white fluffy Lhasa Apso around the Ritz Carlton Georgetwon. We must have been quite a site for the everyday person there ...

OK, i envy life as like a rock star lives = of course i am not a rock star but i do try and play guitar everyday and write poetry and treat my dog like a child = oh yeah, my father is a big attorney = well respected and loved = Jimmy Carter was gonna stay at our house when he was president of the USA but my father arranged for him to stay at a client's instead = Mr. Abbott in Fox Chappel.

The two of us walking along the riverfront park and looping back to Potomac Ave passed the PaperMill TownHouses (sigh = love those) and me carrying up the stairs and over the historic canal = Having espresso (per me) and bottled water for Parker Bean and just relaxing like we do in front of the Starbucks in the village we live in outside of Pittsburgh. Yeah, a Peroni, a diavolo pizza and bottled water for Parker Bean at il Canale outside in the shade = in the lobby at the Ritz Parker Bean under his momma's feet while she has a Hendrix Gin dry martini w/ cucumbers.

As soon as I saw that front page pic of Sen Byrd w/ his adorable doggie named "Trouble" (he calls "Baby") on the front page and I had to buy your paper.

Best of D.C. Roses,
John French

TJ, I heard you say earlier that the Gulf people need a break --- I agree. Now sure some people may want to "rub it in" and figure a hurricane would certainly "rub it in the face" of everybody. However the everyday people of the Gulf need a break. Best of the Roses, In spirit, Your friend, John

Great job, TJ... Thank you for all your hard work in the fresh morning sun _ (hope for when the roses bloom again is alive) ... Maybe even though sometimes it doesn't seem quite right ... We know ...

Gee your competition at FNC hasn't had to sweat in their stiff suits (I bet they use extra starch). But I love them just the same (hopefully they love me too - "love your neighbor to it hurts" Jim) ...
