i drink to a time
we all died and

this is not the little-big lhasa apso, parker bean. i found this pic of cassie on the web. parker has the shorter puppy cut like cassie here. although i like the long majestic cut that most lhasa apsos that are shown sport.

TV weathergirl Louise Bourgoin forecast to be new Brigitte Bardot

The Sunday Times 2008
TV weathergirl Louise Bourgoin forecast to be new Brigitte Bardot
Matthew Campbell in Paris

A television weathergirl turned actress was being touted by French critics last week as the new Brigitte Bardot
Louise Bourgoin, 26, who until recently presented the weather forecasts for Canal Plus, throws a middle-aged lawyer’s life into turmoil as what one critic called “a Mediterranean bimbo” in her first film, which opened in French cinemas last week.
The Girl from Monaco was expected to launch Bourgoin internationally in the way that And God Created Woman put Bardot, the sex goddess of her generation, under a global spotlight in 1956. Comparisons to Bardot, who retired in 1973 to become an animal rights campaigner, were encouraged by the fact that Bourgoin is to play her in a film about Serge Gainsbourg, the singer, who was also one of Bardot’s lovers. Bourgoin was photographed putting on a Bardot-like pout recently for Paris Match magazine.
“As liberated as a young colt and with a bod kissed by Aphrodite,” was how Variety, the US entertainment trade newspaper, described her.
Bourgoin says she did not plan on being a celebrity when she became a forecaster. “I appreciate anonymity,” she said, “even if I find it charming when people come up to me in the street to ask what the weather is going to be like.”

The text in-between these pics are set as links for different Louise Bourgoin YouTube clips of Louise Bourgoin doing her Météo segment on Le Grand Journal - Canal Plus. She's awesome = w/ her vivacious natural beauty & delivery = She's so dynamic & engaging and translates on the screen in such a way us Americans can't seem to even dream on American TV. We are such boring rigid puritanical nimrods who take themselves way too seriously when it comes to all aspects of broadcasting the NEWS.

The New Everyday Media knows no lack of freedom and is expressive on many levels = engaging, educating, entertaining and liberating people.

Marie Drucker -daughter of Jean Drucker & niece of Michel Drucker, both prominent French television stars -She possesses a degree in modern literature

When you think of hot female french news anchors, you usually think of Melissa Theuriau. But there are other hotties in France including Marie Drucker. What's really hot about Marie is her boyfriend was France’s Interior Minister. There was a paparazzi thing that broke the story and apparently she was forced to leave her station, france 3, for a while during the elections. It's not entirely clear but I think she is now back doing the evening news for France 3.
Marie Drucker (born in Paris on December 3, 1974) is a French journalist and television personality. She is the daughter of Jean Drucker and niece of Michel Drucker, both prominent French television stars. She got a degree in modern literature from Sorbonne.

Her journalist career started in 1994, when she worked as a freelance journalist for Le Figaro and ELLE among others, before settling down with the agency Capa in 1997, with whom she worked on the TV program Qu'en pensez-vous ? on Canal+. She was co-presenter of the France 2 show Rince ta baignoire in 1999. Next, in August 1999, she joined the newly-formed team of I-Télé (a 24-hour news channel which first went on air in November 1999), with whom she stayed until September 2005, when she got a job as the main news-reader on the France 3 evening news show Soir 3.

In 2006, she was voted by readers of FHM France the 22nd most sexy woman in the world. Her partner is François Baroin, the former French Minister of the Interior

PSU Football: Lions roar into BCS poll; Ranked No. 3 behind Texas and Alabama

Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark (17) scrambles for 16 yards past Michigan's Brandon Graham (55) during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game in State College, Pa., Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008. Penn State won 46-17.

By Ron Musselman, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The season's first BCS standings were released yesterday.
There were no big surprises, at least not among the top three. Texas, Alabama and Penn State debuted at 1-2-3, the same way all three teams are ranked in The Associated Press and USA Today coaches' polls.

Penn State coach Joe Paterno, whose Lions will play at Ohio State Saturday, said after this past Saturday's 46-17 demolition of Michigan that he wouldn't pay much attention to the BCS standings.

"We got a lot of games ahead of us," Paterno said. "A lot of teams have a lot of games ahead of them. I think there's no need to get caught up in all that stuff.

"I mean, it's fine. It's good for the fans, because it gives you guys some things to talk about, write about and everything else. But, honest to God, I don't even want to talk about that.

"I just try to steer them in on what we got to do to win the next game. I mean, I don't even look at those things. And there's not something I could do about it."

The Buckeyes, who have lost in the past two national championship games, are No. 9 in the BCS rankings.

"They mean a little now, but not much," Penn State kicker Kevin Kelly said. "There's five games left and that's when it's all going to matter."

The BCS formula consists of three components, each weighted equally: the USA Today Coaches' Poll, the Harris Interactive College Football Poll and an average of six computer-based rankings.
The final standings determine which teams will meet Jan. 8 at Dolphin Stadium in Miami to decide the national title.

"It's getting easier to stay focused," Penn State wide receiver Jordan Norwood said. "Because we can see how close we are to really reaching our goals. And we want to make sure we reach them."

Swedish Fish: "Friends You Can Eat"

How Do the French Find the Obama's? Well, Not Like How I'd Like to Find Bon Jovi - Under a Pile of Bricks ...

This may have been written just a little before today but it's still relevant as it provides interesting context as to how the French Media views the Obama's.

Mélissa Theuriau and the Punk Rock French Media: Is American Media Too Puritanical, Boring & Self-Righteously Uptight?!

Why yes. It is. And if you're offended by this article/post/pictures then you are part of the problem and should just watch nothing but your sleepy unchanging local news that has been the same as it was since the beginning of time = (of course, with the exception of those of you who are my friends in the local news buisness = you know who you are = and i know who you are)...

Melissa Theuriau is a French news anchor. She is considered by many to be one of the most attractive female news anchors in the world.

If you happen to live in a French-speaking part of the world, you may be familiar with the 30-year-old, French news anchor, Melissa Theuriau. If not, you'll probably still enjoy these Melissa Theuriau topless pictures. Melissa, and her husband, actor Jamel Debbouze (who you may remember from Amelie Poulin or Angel-A) were spotted getting very close while on vacation in Corsica, as the rather pregnant Melissa went topless.
