Jimi Hendrix Plays "Hound Dog" on Acoustic Guitar ... If I Were a Rapper or a Modern Day Pop Sensation, I'd Either Cry Watching This Or Be Inspired.
Jimi Hendrix hanging out with some friends, entertaining them with some bluesy acoustic guitar playing. This footage has never been published.
This is such a royal treat to watch as in Happy Valley's Penn State University I found this rare Jimi Hendrix CD called First Time in Canada and as a one of two bonus tracks this rendition of Hound Dog was one of them. It blew me away and still does = clearly demonstrating the raw polished genius of Jimi Hendrix as a guitar player, singer, classic all-time forever Pop Icon ... Really, if I were a rapper or pop sensation of today, I'd watch this (while stoned) and just fucking weep - or, if I were smart and humble, I'd be really inspired by this and go back to the basics and listen to what inspired Jimi and then filter out all the bull shit and then create something that's taking my game to the next level and really trying to contribute something great towards our civilization and not just be satisfied with the shallow adoration of my spoon-fed fans, record companies, DJs, media and peers who value superficial status over organic genius. Really. Best of the Roses, myspace.com/mosshead7

Come Over You
come light the way
come on now mystify me
ignite my world
there's a bad moon risin'
over this corrupt day
inside your bed at night
i learn the words to say ...
some kind of change is due
inside studios and living rooms
grabbed by what came over me
oh, let it come (over you)
let it come (over you)
over you, over you, over you

Stars "Quitting Acting" on ShowBiz Tonight ...

Dear AJ and Brooke:
I really enjoyed the Stars "Quitting Acting" piece on ShowBiz Tonight ...
Big name stars like Oscar-nominated actor Joaquin Phoenix, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Kevin Spacey quitting acting is certainly an attention grabber and ...
Wow, I dig it = "like a rolling stone, like a rolling stone - like the FBI, CIA, BBC, BB KING and Dorris Day - Mac Bugbee = Dig it, dig it, dig it..."
... as John Lennon sang inbetween tracks on Let It Be.
Maybe musicians are natural born rebels compared to actors or maybe it's that musicians, or these musicians I'm thinking of, have written their own material - unlike actors who are spoonfed words and then, well, act = Which, by no means, am I belittling acting as some actors are transformational figures and inspire transformation in others and inspire communion with something bigger than self.
But look at Jim Morrison who fled L.A. and the states for Paris and never came back; the Beatles walked away - and, in film, so did Eddie from Eddie and the Cruisers.
At any rate, I'm fascinated by this and I hope you keep us updated. (Psychoanalytically speaking = it's a wet dream - and I'd love to read any kind of poetry from any of these actors who quit and walk away or see or read any interview w/ them or listen to their music or see some of their artwork or just talk to them like the everyday people from stardust we are = real human be-ings).

Nepal 'Buddha Boy' returns to jungle
KATHMANDU (AFP) – A young man believed by followers to be a reincarnation of Buddha has returned to Nepal's jungles to meditate alone, police said Saturday, as scholars cast doubt on his supporters' claims.
Known as the "Buddha Boy," Ram Bahadur Bomjam, 18, became famous in 2005 after supporters said he could meditate motionless for months without water, food or sleep.
"Bomjam went back into the jungle late Friday and all the devotees have left," police officer Gobinda Kushwaha told AFP from Neejgad, a town in Bara District, 60 kilometres (37.5 miles) south of Kathmandu.
The "Buddha Boy" reappeared earlier this month after supporters said in March 2007 that he was going to meditate for three years in an underground bunker, although he was spotted on two occasions.
For the last 10 days, he has been blessing thousands of devotees who came daily to the site in dense jungle close to Neejgad.
The president of the Nepal Buddhist Council said claims by his supporters that he was a reincarnation of Siddartha Gautama, the founder of Buddhism, were not credible.

One of the Hottest Things About President Elect Obama: Amber Lee Ettinger "the Obama Girl" ...

Insert Comment Here _____________________

Bill, I gotta hand it to you ... Just when I thought you were so off the mark (yesterday) w/ your ongoing tyrannical, oppressive, police state, non sensible rant about how you want to waste more precious tax payer dollars on this stupid outdated reefer madness shit to deal with "the pot problem in San Francisco" (-which I wouldn't even watch yesterday to give you the ratings even if I were home -anyway) when our money can be so desperately better spent combatting crimes where there are actual victims; terrorism; the failed economy; homelesesness and hunger, you have on Amber Lee Ettinger, the Obama Girl, and rock it.
Yeah, I come home from a busy day today and was changing in the bedroom and turn on the TV and, of course, it happened to be on FNC from watching Megyn Kelly this morn and, wow, you're rockin' out w/ Amber Lee Ettinger, the Obama Girl...

And, you know your interview w/ her made me open my eyes to see what a star she is now and how their plan influenced a lot of people in a fun way = like you both said, "satire is good for the country" =
Well, you two inspired me to have Amber Lee Ettinger, the Obama Girl, as one of my Top 75 2009 Hottest Women of the New Everyday Media I will be posting on mystrawhat.com sometime this January when releasing my latest e-book, The New Everyday Media, on mystrawhat.com

No More Words
No More Words
There's so many times I want to talk about it Just to talk about it – Talk about it but Really nothing I can think or say is right
Driving down city streets inside headlights Ah, maybe we can make it work tonight So, what was it I did wrong? I don't know
I don't know what to say – What to say What's gonna help make me understand It's just a future eating fight if I don't pray
But I won't let you go and I won't go So I don't know but I'm here to try And I love the together we provide
I won't let myself get in the way anymore It's just you who's important to me anyway It's just you who I love every single day
Words are on the ground like shattered glass There to be left behind but watch your step And I'll watch mine – You're such a hep cat
Did I tell you I like your new hair and ways You're like my dream I dreamt every day The girl who broke in and stole my heart away
