- in my Pittsburgh Poetry Workshops I conduct around greater metropolitan #Pittsburgh for long term care nursing home residents where we read and write poetry together - I have used many triggers to engage + stimulate memory & new ideas including by referencing Stephen Foster, reading his bio & playing his music. I've also referenced the Chatter Box at the William Penn Hotel and how Count Basie was broadcasted live from there to the world and I've used his music as well as other hot & sweet big band music such as "The Old LampLighter" and "The Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy."

"Muted Sunlight"

Muted sun at dawn

A bird chirping 

Diesel engine running 

Two sounds trying

Accents from hissing

Car tires and rain

Rolling by moving on

Inside the town

We walk around

Listening to sounds

Washing away the dirty

Remnants of a hurricane 

Who killed a 10 yr old 

In Alabama - Cindy

Lordy it was windy

In water muted sunlight

respectively please ask AG Sessions if other than term "snake" are  rattlers & garters the same?

A top level law enforcement position as AG Sessions holds to keep US citizens safe must require capacity to distinguish a rattler Vs garter!

Our safety relies on specific classification such as "poisonous" & "nonpoisonous" to protect & prevent people from illness, injury, death!

So, if given the awesome responsibility of protecting people from snakes that can make folks ill & die, why bother w/non-poisonous garters?!

Stop Denying Veterans Medical Marijuana: _ the real intent?

Dear House Republicans and Democrats (@HouseGOP @HouseDemocrats on Twitter):

Fact: 

1). a V.A. medical doctor can not even discuss medical marijuana as an option with veterans.

2). marijuana is considered illegal under federal law for allegedly  having no medical merits.

3). marijuana is proven to have medicinal properties that are beneficial to one's physical, mental and spiritual well being.

4). there have been 0 deaths from merely ingesting marijuana - as compared to heroin, opiods and alcohol

5). marijauna and medical marijuana is now currently legal at the state level in several states

6). herion and opiod deaths from overdose are out of control all over america and in every state in america

7). he U.S. population polled is in favor (well over 50% and well over 60%) of legalizing marijuana and, especially, medical marijuana

8). many veterans are prescribed an unnecessary and even dangerous amount of opioids by V.A. medical doctors

9). many veterans overdose every single day from opioids and heroin

10). Donald J. Trump now President of the United States of America and House Republicans and Democrats (@HouseGOP @HouseDemocrats on Twitter) have the power to propose that marijuana no longer be illegal under federal law

11). a garter snake is non aggressive and non-poisonous

12). a garter snake is a snake but it is classified properly as a non-poisonous snake

13).  rattle snake is aggressive and poisonous

14).  rattle snake is a snake and is classified properly as a poisonous (lethal and deadly) snake

15). If one cannot tell the difference between a garter snake and a rattle snake it could prove to be dangerous, unsafe and deadly -- resulting in death for that incompetent "naive" person and other people being led by that person. Moreover, if one believes garter snakes as dangerous as rattle snakes and wage a war on all snakes giving garter snakes the same "high priority value" and classification as rattle snakes, one is wasting valuable time and resources that could be allocated to the actual threat and real danger risking illness and death

what's the intent behind this?

1). what's the incentives are there for Donald J. Trump now President of the United States of America and House Republicans and Democrats (@HouseGOP @HouseDemocrats on Twitter) to continue to keep marijuana a schedule one drug?


2). what allows for-profit-prisons to provide incentives for politicians and law enforcement to continue to keep marijuana as a schedule one drug under federal law classifying it with heroin (thus declaring  marijuana as deadly, as dangerous and as unsafe as heroin and other like opioids)?

3). why doesn't Donald J. Trump now President of the United States of America and House Republicans and Democrats (@HouseGOP @HouseDemocrats on Twitter) legalize it and quit deceiving the american public and taking away the rights of citizens who use marijuana wasting precious resources and tax payer dollars?!

Conclusion:

Almost all Republicans in the GOP @GOP hold misguided beliefs like Jeff Sessions and Gov Christie based on politics and not reality thus deliberately denying our veterans medical marijuana

The New Media Landscape _ new poem April 2017

The New Media Landscape

Ones and zeroes 

Raining down on me

April showers of spring

Refreshing rebirth they bring

Reminding me of the mountain

Snow and ice melting away 

Rushing down the mountain

The creek full and swollen

Vibrantly offering baptism 

I lovingly entered and swam in

Connected, tuned-in, plugged-in

Walking down back into town

Now being able to see things

To see things the same differently

The outline of Whispering Angels

In the ones and zeroes so alive

First I thought they were pictures 

Yet defiantly opening the doors

Reading me the poetry of the divine

Leading me to sift thru truth and lies

Through tears running from my eyes

Leaving me with a spent lover's smile

Whispering Angels will be back for more

Out of town and in cities guided by ley-lines

Question Regarding American Backdoors?

So if there's surveillance run regularly on American citizens wether incidental or targeting for political purposes with all the tactics employed for seamless cover-up including smear & destroy credibility, blame on rogue agents, typos, spying (but only because of the heart strings being pulled by love that jealously drove good actors bad because they had to know everything & everyone in their lover's orbit) etc ...

So our own law enforcement legit and special rogue ops and all have been using sting ray, name checking, turning the switch on, tumbling D.I.C.E.

What makes you think that a Snow'd-in event hadn't captured all of this activity electronically?

Moreover what makes you think that Russian spies aren't also targeting the targets our own law enforcement (and or WH & Media & Private Dicks for Senate & House & lobbyists) is targeting legitimately or illegitimately? ... and why? Is it only to influence votes? ... or is it to influence policy? .... who wins & loses in business, politics, film like a Mephitic playbook?

And, thank you for those who truly protect and serve us, we the people, the everyday Americans trying to be Americans today, everyday!!! You rock and or roll :) keep on keeping on!!!
