If you were a Christmas Tree, would you be full of colored lights or plain white lights?

And, why?

If you had passed-on and it's the holiday season and you realize, like the stars, when you pass you do not die and you still indeed scientifically provenn still emit radio waves = you are energy ... and you want to communicate w/ a loved one or loved ones for Christmas, would you be full of colored lights or plain white lights?

Just cause I don't get paid for it maybe I can accept that maybe I am a little rockstar and fuck the people who have been saying it about me (like that's what i'm trying for = i have been who i am since about 8 or 9 when i started writing lyrics, drinking wine & espresso, smoking ciggs and chasing women, playing electric bass guitar and six string acoustic but also balanced as a little steady rain maker = people & money = track record) ... Some poeple just possess the non-thing-ness that's rock star = i guess. It's like when people used try and tell me someone isn't a writer unless they make their living that way and that way only.
In the words of Flounder's car "eat me" as the cake is cut ...

$5 decision? What would Jesus do?

So, this morning, for the second time an obviously mentally and physically challanged person who appears to be early thirties and incapable of securing employment and earning money locked in on me and opened the circa 1970's change purse he carries and said he doesn't have enough. This was in front of Bruegger's where my Volvo wagon is sometimes parked -as it was this American Morning.

Today he needed orange juice and didn't have enough. Last time (the first time) it was a dollar more for a bagel and milk.

I gave him a five ---Now, that obviously didn't matter to the few same peole who are in Brugger's in the window, in the same seats every morning -sitting, eating, and talking (an awful long time) but the fact that I did give him any money at all must have bothered "this crowd" an awful lot --- as one of the elders stood up and walked to the door, opened the door and stood there and was scawling at me - scolding me in expression and energy ...

Now unless that's the proper guardian for this person - what business does he have? Do I need to get an attorney? Am I on trial here now?

But, yeah, he has a right to protest (or at lest I think we all do still, anyway, right?) ... Well, maybe I should start protesting how he and his little group sit there every morning for hours and judge people?! ...especially instead of doing something productive to contribute to the positive(s) in life ...

I had a dream about all this as it was happening (well, really, right before it happened) when I was in Chataqua Lake, NY (known for uncanny and scientific "special energy") ... and well I emailed to web@cnymedia.com Administrator and, well, look at the callous response and then my response === at any rate, ask my wife, I was freaked out about this event because I dreamt it and saw the faces of the murderes and felt the perspective of the daughters ... I was tweaked for days over this ... So, Peter Orszag is scary = but It's No Big Deal = I was protected and am proctected ... these people weren't ... (if you're impatient just scroll down a bit and you'll get to the meat of this) ...

...so I was looking for to a week at Chataqua Lake, NY after a whirl-wind trip in California which was intensely successful and a yet a joy too = Though all the way around calling for some time w/ my loving wife and Parker Bean.

The drive here I had some clarity and tuned-in to those who once inhabited this sacred land = who laughed here, hunted, here, fished here, danced here, chanted here, prayed here, married here, had children here, loved here, learned here, taught here, fought here, planted here, grew here, harvested here, built here, were grateful and thankful for the Sun, Moon and Stars and passed down myths here............

and from then until now I prayed for peace in the minds, bodies, spirits and souls of all those who walked and rode and lived here .............

I felt as clear as strong receiver of a radio = being able to transmit and receive radio waves.

Sunday night I had a disturbing dream about two guys breaking into a home and terrifying two sisters and the sisters knowing their impending death by the hands of these two horrible horrible men.

I then became extremely freaked-out and could not sleep last night when I had the realization that the two men that was in my dream were the two men from the putrid Connecticut break-in and murders = that poor poor poor family
= may the minds, bodies, souls and spirits of the mother and two sisters find peace and comfort with all the force, light, love and joy of the universe with all the force, light and momentum of the universe with all the healing magical powers of running water............

I don't feel at ease here in Mayville on Valley Street after sunset.

We're just gonna stay one more day here boating on the lake and just one more night here and then check into the Ritz-Carlton in Cleavland and go see the Doors exhibit at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

I will continue to pray for the family in Connecticut.

one of you is engaged to someone in the Obama Admin (more jobless claims this month, Mr., good job? but who cares when you got the power, huh) ... at any rate, once married i give this marriage 2 yrs.

you know, having spent many summers on Hilton Head Island i got used to seeing beautiful women w/ dorks. however, friends of mine who i'd invite to the Port Royal Plantation house just could not get over how and why these beautiful women are w/ dorks.
i knew.

but what's more intriguing to me is how these dorks learn to "control" their women --- and not their own insecurities.

Walkin' in the park just the other day, Baby,
What do you, what do you think I saw? Crowds of people sittin' on the grass withflowers in their hair said, "Hey, Boy, do you wanna score?" And you know how it is; I really don't know what time it was, woh, oh, So I asked them if I could stay awhile. I didn't notice but it had got very dark and Iwas really, Really out of my mind. Just then a policeman stepped up to me and askedus said, "Please, hey, would we care to all get in line, Get in line." Well you know, They asked us to stay for tea andhave some fun, Oh, oh, he said that his friends would all dropby, ooh. Why don't you take a good look at yourself anddescribe what you see, And Baby, Baby, Baby, do you like it? There you sit, sitting spare like a book on ashelf rustin' Ah, not trying to fight it. You really don't care if they're coming, oh, oh, I know that it's all a state of mind, ooh. If you go down in the streets today, Baby, youbetter, You better open your eyes. Folk down there really don't care, really don't care, don't care, really don't Which, which way the pressure lies, So I've decided what I'm gonna do now. So I'm packing my bags for the Misty Mountains Where the spirits go now, Over the hills where the spirits fly, ooh. I really don't know.

The Magnify Glass: (a short story – short independent film)

The Magnify Glass

(a short story – short independent film)

Peter didn't read much at all – he disliked books and didn't pay much attention to that type of culture or really any culture at all unless it was liked by mainstream approval from his Carny-esque parents who would try and hock whatever wherever because they had that effect on people.

Peter, or Dick, as his back slapping buddy system buddies luvingly called him also was well liked by people because, again, he didn't do reading let alone "the outside the classroom reading" that makes you truly more of a scholar of academics and, well, life. Peter pretty much believed whatever gossip was being peddled by his friends, family relatives – whoever paid attention to him and found they could take advantage of his blank slate, wet dish towel demeanor.

"Hey, Dick, take this magnify glass and burn that big black ant for me, honey" his mother requested. In which he did without even thinking.

Emery Wallace on the other hand, his mother who was very cultured and well educated, fair and just, would never make such a request in the first place. And, then again, Emery Wallace, was blessed by reading and thinking and developed high powered analytical skills which, sometimes to his detriment by the standards of the mainstream popularity entertainment/gossip machine goes, and almost intuitively would know the ethical consequences of misusing the magnify glass --- heat from the Sun would refract within the glass and cause extreme intense heat which would instantly fry any ant.

Moments of thought … Important here. And, well, if you don't think and just, basically blindly listen and do the consequences can have a devastating unfair and unjust result. You play God. Emery Wallace a devout Catholic from a devout Catholic background believed in God and Jesus Christ. He knew the judge.

When he picked up a magnify glass, as a child, and saw the ants on his big patio filled with concrete, trees, annual flowers and bushes and perennial flowers and bushes with bushy roots, on a blue sky day with white fluffy clouds above him, it never even crossed his mind to victimize an ant. He studies his ancient coins from his lineage instead.

In fact if SO TOTALLY SMOKING RED HOT for a Saturday = a++++++++ were a new Volvo cross country wagon (that's pretty smart) I'd enjoy getting inside and going for a ride everyday ...

But, hey, today they do BOTH look so HOT that I gotta FLIP BACK and FORTH so, you know what? = other factors come into play ...

Kate Bolduan 2010 in blue w/ John Roberts and NOT from today though

On one hand, there's Dave Briggs who is spewing intolerant rehtoric (like a catastrophic oil spill) this morn wanting to throw Kristen McMenamy and Steven Meisel in jail for the recent Italian Vogue shoot.

And, then there's T.J. who is ... well, cool and cutting edge with his thinking and honesty.

Now we come to Clayton. Gee, he seems like the type that instead of hanging out and seeking approval from the crowd he's on his laptop or iphone and, God forbid, he may read instead of watching sports - he's intelligent and sensitive. I don't know - he's different!

OK, B.P., U.S. Gov't and Media, ... before going and touting "good news" about the Gulf "oil spill" / DISASTER well, maybe it's not time to turn off the lights on this story and move on to more sensational softer safe stories?!?! ... Let us not forget that from the get-go 11 people died on this rig because of a gross negligence and recklessness and, yeah, and then major ripple effects on the local economies, ecosystems and, in general, ethics.
Aug 3rd 2010 100 and some days after this DISASTER you're trying to tout some kind of milestone and gain ? ... But what about all the loss that has happened from the get-go and continued to "spill on" ? ... loss of life = ranging from humans to aquatic (mammals, reptiles, amphibians) and even, well, blades of grass (important grass that acts as feeding grounds and, yeah, a natural barrier from the sea = kind of important in this fragile ecosystem of sea, wetlands, rivers and such that protects this special Gulf region)... loss of jobs, monies and abandoned pets = a way of life for summer 2010 and maybe more to come ...

"New Media Madness: An Everyday Art"

So, I am flirting with the idea of doing another e-book for mystrawhat.com which I will call =
"New Media Madness: An Everyday Art" .... .... ....
This e-book will include poetry, email write-ins and, of course, a Top Hottest Women of the New Everyday Media = featuring a top 100 listing of 2010 - 2011 .... .... ....

Bill Hemmer and the dynamic & engaging Juliet Huddy July 20, 2010 in Americas Newsroom FNC

However, then again, I just may quit poetry all together and focus on business only like Arthur Rimbaud (or, at least, not share my poetry any longer = as literary giant and noble professor Wallace Fowlie stated that I could not not be a poet as the way I perceive life is poetry) .... .... ....

Cheers.

Ed, we have been wathcing the HBO John Adams series religiously for the past week --- If you're interested in it will still be on HBO (on demand) for a while --- But, yeah, thought given you're interest in law you may find this as elating ...

I've been no stranger --- I grew up knowing exactly who John and Abigal were and did several papers at Marquette U. and PSU on both John and Abigal Adams.

Truly amazing = True, Pure FREEDOM =

  • John Adams - Declaration of Independence
  • 1
    Liberty will reign.

Thank You for All Your Support (Or At Least Reading)

Thank you for all your support - those who have supported me with compliments, flattery and encouragement - those who have followed me in admiration or to mock me (at least to mock me you read me a bit and viewed my posts and gossiped about me).
However I am now fueled by challanges and triumphs everyday that revolve around my real job as director of business development which I am thankful and grateful for = and truly love = and truly love what it's all about.
I am a busy man. My grandmother Rose (both were Roses) always said "the devil makes work for idle hands."
Therefore I will no longer be posting or writing in emails to media outlets.
The mystrawhat.com project and The New Everyday Media projects have been fun and I think there was a lot of good there (even if misunderstood by some).
I may post on FaceBook here and there but that will be more or less to say "hello" to friends.
      Thanks again.
      Sincerely, John
