I suppose I may be in a bit of a cynical mindset of late,LOL.- John Alan Conte Jr Ok, but what would the world be minus 5 beat writers & characters such as Jack, Neal Cassidy, Allen Ginsberg, Lawrence Ferlinghetti?! What would rock & roll, San Francisco, Greenwich Village in NYC be like with out these characters "Howl" ... We surely wouldn't have Keenu
Reeves starring in the film about a letter between beats called The Last Time I Committed Suicide or City Lights BookStore or the movie the Matrix Topanga Canyon Brooke S. referred to in her awesome true reality (& romantic) reply.
A world without the real poets would be all like black & white TV and some would love to live in that Pleasantville but not me = I like dreaming in color (dreaming, dreaming is free).
