... wow!!! is Jerry havin' some fun or what???!!! ... do you think he's diggin' playing this tune???!!! just yesterday while driving around the National Mall on a sunny Saturday morning I heard an interview w/ Jerry on Sirius Radio's Grateful Dead channel and it was so engaging and really spoke to me --- Interestingly, the interviewer asked Jerry about meditation and religion and Jerry was saying how music is his yoga. Doing his lessons everyday is like meditation and he really does believe that whatever you do whatever trip you're on as long as you focus that energy on something that the mind benefits and there is that power of consciousness ... However, he said that though people may follow dogmatic type religions and meditate towards religious agendas although he doesn't demean them he's not into that and it's just not for him - he's focused on his Earth be-ing and isn't looking for the "big cash in." ... And, then, speaking of "cashing in" ... The interviewer asked him about the music industry as a big corporate machine and where Jerry sees it going ... Jerry stated that he thinks it's going to oblivion ... and followed by stating that basically the music industry stands for everything he's against ... and although he has friends in it he personally feels removed from it like it's an insurance company or the government or something ... Jerry said that music can get you higher and that that's why he plays and when he goes to see some music he goes to see music that's gonna get him off ... That's what it's all about it ...
