"The Race Is Just Getting Hot"

"The Race Is Just Getting Hot" --- 11: 52 a.m. On the Record w/ Greta Van Susteren
on the floor of the RNC after the McCain speech
Here are the "current" players ...

Republican vice presidential candidate Alaska Governor Sarah Palin blows a kiss to her family during her address at the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota September 3, 2008

Right now as I compose this post after midnight, On the Record w/ Greta Van Susteren asserted that "CBS has Obama and McCain at a dead even."

Moreover, On the Record also asserted that there's a rumor that Obama might drop Biden for one Hillary Clinton.

Gee, I'm no political strategist ... but if I played basketball and I wanted a "slam dunk" I wouldn't worry about being the star and I'd focus on the team and pass the ball to Hillary so she could take it to the house ... (White House = that is)!!! ... yeah, even now ...

BEAVER, PA - AUGUST 29: Democratic U.S. Presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) (2nd-L) speaks as Democratic U.S. Vice-Presidential nominee Joe Biden (D-DE)(2nd-R), his wife Jill Biden (L) and Michelle Obama (R) look on at Irvine Park August 29, 2008 in Beaver, Pennsylvania. Obama is campaigning the day after the Democratic Convention and officially becoming the first African-American nominated as a candidate for U.S. president by a major party.

ST. PAUL, MN - SEPTEMBER 04: Republican U.S presidential nominee U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) gives the thumbs up during day four of the Republican National Convention (RNC) at the Xcel Energy Center on September 4, 2008 in St. Paul, Minnesota. U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) will accept the GOP nomination for U.S. President Thursday night.

This gazebo where Obama spoke they very next day after "the speech" at the DNC was built for the town of Beaver, PA for for and by the movie Gung Ho starring Pittsburgh's own Michael Keaton. I wonder who he's voting for, BTW?
