My Handed Down "Activation of Energy" Book From My Father

My
Handed down to me from my father Attny John A. Conte of Beaver County where this book Activation of Energy by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin existed in the library of our home we called the Spanish room due to its imported Spanish tile and sconces. Dad told me this was one of his favorite books, thinkers & writers and wanted me to have & keep it in my library. November 7th I was drawn to it aware of encountering chance by selecting what page & paragraph to go to (which I did & then directed me to this page & section where what I was desiring as a need not a want along my own path for explanation & navigation purposes almost as if realigning chakras for full potential)

The effects of selection are more  pushes a population toward homozygosity, rejecting most new mutations as they are introduced but occasionally (if the  is advantageous) spreading a new  through the population to create a new homozygous state. Whether such  promotes  of populations depends on the  and on chance events. Two populations living in very similar environments may be kept genetically similar by directional selection, but, if there are environmental differences, selection may direct the populations toward different compositions.
Selection favoring heterozygotes (balancing selection) will, for the most part, maintain more or less similar polymorphisms in different populations. However, again, if the environments are different enough between them, then the populations will show some divergence. The opposite of balancing selection is selection against heterozygotes, which produces unstable equilibria. Such selection will cause homozygosity and divergence between populations.
By agreement with the publisher, this book is accessible by the search feature, but cannot be browsed. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK21757/

And it was said today when Dan & Scott Dad's law partners spoke: "John as a young child found an injured crow and took it home and nursed him back to health. He named the crow "Jimmy" and taught him to sit on his shoulder. John would even walk to school with Jimmy the crow on his shoulder and when he went into the school in the morning Jimmy the crow would wait for him and be there when he got out of school in the afternoon and get back up on John's shoulder and walk on home with him. John figured if he could teach a crow all this he could teach a jury." http://theneweverydaymedia.blogspot.com/2014/05/piece-in-pittsburghpostgazette-today-on.html
