Ghostly Whispers _ New Poem / Song Lyrics August 2025

Ghostly Whispers

sunshine bends until there's fall

In that shine you can know it all

Upstairs through the attic window

Some spirits ready to jump your soul

Seeing yourself through their eyes

Shedding skin while bashing lies

Uniquely American burning herds

Profit from leaves with printed words

Take the bridge to the other side

Maybe grow wings and gonna fly

It's not so much Déjà vu

Recognizing what I see in you

And what you see in me

Is what I feel it needs

What I feel it needs

It's in you

 Déjà vu

Leaning into  sunshine  burnt gold

It was bought before it was even sold

An autumn attic  filled with sorted songs

None of them about you doing wrong

It's not nostalgic what was left behind

That's why spirits try to go back in time

it's as simple as forgetting to say I love you

And in a ghostly whipper, "it isn't Déjà vu"

Take the bridge to the other side

Maybe grow wings and gonna fly

It's not so much Déjà vu

Recognizing what I see in you

And what you see in me

Is what I feel it needs

What I feel it needs

It's in you

 Déjà vu
