50 years later what's the next steps: #rebranding image for not only black community but for those #leaders of #blackcommunity +++ Dear Top Economist: how much $ would we the people have if...

"Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step." MLK Jr.

We have a beautiful African-American man as POTUS in the WhiteHouse with a beautiful black family, a black U.S. Attny General, senators, congressmen, media personalities, successful entrepreneurs however the "black community" led by the likes of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson act like it's still 1955 and they have no rights which is not a realistic representation of the "black community" ... "Black community" needs to start looking within and preaching to those bad apples from within and quit playing the victim in 2013. I voted for Obama but am not very happy with him. What's more powerful & valuable for self identity & to diminish hate? a hand-out or a job?! ... Come on, man!!

@Toure` and @RevAl and Reverend Jesse Jackson Sr. need to think about #rebranding image for not only black community but for those #leaders of #blackcommunity = no longer "we shall overcome" but now in 2013 with beautiful black First Family, "we shall succeed" & here's how brothers & sisters & little ones

Jeffrey Miron, you're one of the brightest economists to date, please, tell us: how much $ money $ would "we the people" have if our Gov't released all nonviolent lowlevel #potheads from prison + stopped targeting them to bust?!

Yes, how much money would we have saved to then have to spend on education, healthcare, anti-terror prevention, social security, Medicare & Medicaid + "real worthwhile wars" (that are not just a smoke screen & easy trophies to tout around)?! and what about those promised "shovel ready" projects for our crumbling infrastructure
;)
