Between ThanksGiving and Christmas

Between ThanksGiving and Christmas
Is like the Goodyear Blimp headed
From Akron, OH to the Three Rivers
For Sunday Pittsburgh Steeler games

It's certainly a tradition in our culture
And we await them just the same as
If a pilot or Santa navigating the way
Or a spectating fan way down below

Whether one season you're way up -
Or with your feet firmly on the ground
Isn't it great to be alive and participate
Having people care enough to see you

Seeing you up in sky blue sky above
Or watching you way way down below
Standing next to you by the three rivers
Or sitting at home with family in a room

Between ThanksGiving and Christmas
All I can feel is some magic in the air
Between ThanksGiving and Christmas
I hope we all take time to see and care
