"Suits Are Picking up The Bill" --- Is There a Valid Theme Here???

Promo video for the song "Suits Are Picking Up The Bill "

While watching the DNC coverage at a V.P.'s home of a publicly traded company - after everyone else had left and we were just chilling out and catching-up a bit - this song kept going through my head and did so the whole way home - And, then, still the same while I continued to watch more of the DNC coverage from my own home.

I think there's a theme here - all the way around for tonight - when I think of tonight- it's theme is: "the suits are picking up the bill"

...Really, think about it!

...all the CNN coverage, the FNC coverage, the CBS, NBC, CNBC, BBC = who's picking-up the bill? The suits - that's who.

And in hotels, bars and restaurants and strip clubs across Denver - who's picking-up the bill? The suits that's who!

And all across the country who's picking-up the bill and will continue to do so???

... Democrat or Republican - either way, "the suits are picking-up the bill."

Summer Sundays: How Else Should You Spend Them?...

Country Club Johnny at the Veranda Bar
(Diesel tee and Hugo Boss sunglasses)
It turns out that not only does country club Paul the bartender make insanely great drinks like a Maker's Mark Manhattan (up or down) but he apparently takes some good pictures as well
LifeGuard Steve at the country club pool is a pretty righteous dude for a young buck not even old enough to have a legal drink in this Common Wealth of Pennsylvania or in neighboring Ohio where he attends John Carroll University. LifeGuard/John Carroll University Steve has an excellent appreciation of music, books and overall communication ---

Hi Gretchen,

...so, Stephanie, the "good producer," ....the one helping you w/ this engagingly savvy Face Book strategy  ... is she hot too?

i'd like to see a little more into that control room.

"control room."

gee, i wonder the things that are said into Brian Kilmead's ear from there.

one Saturday while a guest/fill-in co-host on F&F Weekend Greg Gutfeld just took his piece out (ear piece that is) and like Clayton or Dave had to tell him that he needed to put it back in so he could hear what was going on from the "control room."

Please note though, out of all the shows I watch, most of the time, I feel F&F is one of the most liberated and that it definitely does know what the hell it's doing and what some fat & bald loser like me wants to see on TV.

I do get frustrated though w/ the limits, the parameters, the old rules, standard rules - what "they" think is gonna be great, worth while, "NEWS worthy," good for America, society, hummanity, civilization.

I know I'd be doing some "ground breaking" moves = "throwing 7 kinds of smoke" ... and winning Emmy's for it _ eventually _ after the smoke settles and no one could deny what it is I have really done.

Face Book Strategy: Fox & Friends _ (And Master Peter Doocy)_ PLUS, CNN's "IReport" Everyday Sunshine"

Steve,

I think it's a great strategy for Fox & Friends folks to be on Face Book and actually become friends w/ your viewers = That's just another step in really engaging your viewers (existing and potential) --- and letting them know that you all do realize they are not just zombies who are blindly watching TV --- that they have a chance to get heard an be heard and be a part of a special process and be part pf a special time in history everyday ....

Moreover, it shows that you all are not just pompous wind-bags and talking heads that are out-of-touch and do not care about us (your fans in TV land = the general public = the everyday people who lift America up to its actual greatness everyday = and go unreported and unnoticed though mostly because of the producers and writers not wanting to give up control and break on through and create something different we can all experience like communion from good stories about everyday people that may help us realize we all could use this crowd consciousness for good instead of propagating fear, hate and greed, discontent and mistrust) ....

The other day I saw that Robin Meade was doing something called "IReport" Everyday Sunshine" = where she asks us to video our everyday routine while watching her on CNN's Headline NEWS = I thought that was brilliant = for the same reasons I listed about your FB strategy.

And, yet, Anna Gilligan has ingored two requests to be a friend = Well, yeah, that's not good and has altered my perception of her which makes me form opinions and like her less = Obviously (I'm only human, man).

As for Master Peter Doocy I obliged w/ his request and sent in to be his friend and gave questions I'd like him to ask the presidential candidates.

Do you think I should put this on my everyday blog? at http://theneweverydaymedia.blogspot.com/

Lastly, I'm glad Brian Kileade is back from whatever he was doing = (probably writing another amazing boook) ...

Summer's Almost Gone

Summer's almost gone

Summer's almost gone

Almost gone

Yeah, it's almost gone

Where will we be

When the summer's gone?

Morning found us calmly unaware

Noon burn gold into our hair

At night, we swim the laughin' sea

When summer's gone

Where will we be

Where will we be

Where will we be

Morning found us calmly unaware

Noon burn gold into our hair

At night, we swim the laughin' sea

When summer's gone

Where will we be

Summer's almost gone

Summer's almost gone

We had some good times

But they're gone

The winter's comin' on

Summer's almost gone

For Greg Gutfeld, Bill Schulz & TV's Andy Levy of Red Eye: This Bud Is For YOU ... ..(Dudes)... ...

Dear Red Eye: Sure, just about every night when you talk about your Bro, Matthew McConaughey, you have pictures of him shirtless. And, although you may prefer that here, well, you know, he was at a Hollywood premier and, of course, could not appear shirtless.
However, I thought you still may dig it because his cowboy shirt looks like it's unbuttoned to his belly button and he's tan, his hair is perfect and teeth are so straight & white, he has cool shades on (I actually own a pair just like those) and some Malibu scruff.

Currently One of My Favorite TV Shows and Actresses on TV

Airs Next: FOX at Monday 8:00 PM (60 min.)
Status: Returning Series Premiered: September 13, 2005 Show Categories:
Drama, Action/Adventure
(Emily Deschanel)
From executive producers Barry Josephson and Hart Hanson comes the darkly amusing drama Bones, inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs. Forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan, who works at the Jeffersonian Institution and writes novels as a sideline, has an uncanny ability to read clues left behind in a victim's bones. Consequently, law enforcement calls her in to assist with murder investigations when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned, or destroyed that the standard identification methods are useless. Brennan's equally brilliant colleagues (or "squints" as they're often called) at the Jeffersonian's Medico-Legal Lab include earthy and bawdy Angela Montenegro, who's created a unique way to render an original crime scene in a three-dimensional computer image; Brennan's assistant, Zack Addy, a young prodigy whose genius IQ sometimes distances him from reality; Dr. Jack Hodgins, who's an expert on insects, spores and minerals, but conspiracy is his hobby; and Brennan's boss Dr. Camille "Cam" Saroyan, who replaced Dr. Daniel Goodman after the first season. Brennan often finds herself teamed with Special Agent Seeley Booth, a former Army sniper who mistrusts science and scientists when it comes to solving crimes. Brennan and Booth clash both professionally and personally, but the chemistry between them has grown since they first met and has made them a strong and trusting team. To aid Booth and Brennan in their persisting struggles, psychologist Dr. Lance Sweets signed on in season three as their therapist and also occasionally provides input on cases they're working on.

I love how Agent Booth is from Pittsburgh too.
Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) is a wonder-woman. She has an unwavering, impeccable sense of integrity. She's amazingly intelligent and yet sometimes shy, awkward and as unassuming about how sure she is about her feelings and doing the absolute right thing as she is about her on fantastic beauty.
Next episode: Yanks in the UK (1)Season four begins all the way in England, with Booth speaking at Scotland Yard and Brennan guest-lecturing at the prestigious Oxford University. Knowing of Booth and Brennan's expertise in their respective fields, local officials ask for their help with a high-profile murder investigation that involves a British heiress.

Video: Rain by Rusted Root @ Penn State University April 2005 "Movin' On" Concert (Alumni Weekend, Blue & White Weekend & Earth Day Weekend)

This footage was taken back in April 2005 on the lawn of the Student Union Building (HUB) at Penn State University (Happy Valley), State College, PA. It was quite chilly but that did not deter people from creating one of the biggest crowds on the HUB lawn for a show - nor did it curtail any enthusiasm for the band playing that night. At this time original members Jim Donovan, Jenn Wertz and Johnny B (John Buynak) were playing in the band. Co-founders Michael Glabicki & Liz Berlin are still rocking out with original member Patrick Norman on bass guitar.

This song is called Rain and features quite an original sound and is demonstrative of the energy, ritual and musicianship which has sustained the bands unique viability through the shifting sands of time.

I had my digital video camera "in the pit" (between the edge of the stage and the barrier w/ security which separates the crowd) and friends, Mikey and Karen, were checking on Liz's camera in the crowd at the sound board.

And thanks to Mike & Karen for letting me crash at their place in Boalsburg. What a great time.

As a fan and a friend I'm looking forward to the release of the new studio album by Rusted Root --- the latest since 2002 and the release of a double live CD in 2005. This new material is engaging in a way that is easy to gravitate towards and organically blends w/ all the favorites = which makes for a fun, dynamic, kick ass show. But it will be nice to play these new songs in my car while driving down the road.

two wastes of life

i know she's pushed around

i know she's hit around

i know she's pushed around
and hit around - again

it feels like it's never gonna end

it's probably never gonna end

she don't wanna tell
so she lives in hell

she lives in hell
and will probably never tell

she thinks she needs him
always cooks and feeds him

she's captured and surrendered
and treated worse than a dog

no matter what she does
it's not good enough

no matter what he'd ever say
it's not good enough

no matter what he'd ever do
it's not good enough

it's not normal - it's not right
it's wrong & two wastes of life
